23", 6.5 lb rainbow trout. Caught with ultralight spinning equipment (Daiwa MiniSpin) on 4lb test and 1/8 oz Kastmaster brass spoon.

Colorado. The fish was 6" from back to belly and was a real fighter.

That lightweight pole (4.5 ft) really bent while I worked the fish in but was awesome. Felt like I was Captain Quint battling Jaws.

Thanks for the update. Truly impressive. It's what all of us backcountry fisherfolk dream of. That ought to buy another 10 years of hope and wishful thinking :)
