I read about the new upcoming 2013 Montane Prizm glove system that weighs 1 oz.
That sounds real good, but they won't be out until the fall season.

Anything even comparable to that already existing? Or close?
That actually might be warm down to say, 20*F?

While I was traveling in Bolivia I bought lots of articles of clothing hand made out of alpaca. This included a pair of gloves that I bring along backpacking and have for the past few years now. They weigh 28g total, and are quite warm. I will bring them during the spring and fall seasons mostly, and wear them at night, sleep, and in the morning. If it is colder than freezing I will wear a synthetic pair (35g) that are not as fluffy to wear as liners inside a bigger wool or leather pair (around 100g for either) of gloves.
