While I was traveling in Bolivia I bought lots of articles of clothing hand made out of alpaca. This included a pair of gloves that I bring along backpacking and have for the past few years now. They weigh 28g total, and are quite warm. I will bring them during the spring and fall seasons mostly, and wear them at night, sleep, and in the morning. If it is colder than freezing I will wear a synthetic pair (35g) that are not as fluffy to wear as liners inside a bigger wool or leather pair (around 100g for either) of gloves.
