Most definitely, If its too much of pain in the backside to get too I would be up for it.
Funny I've been thinking the same thing
…as long as its not too far away. Never been to one and have been looking forward to it.
Anyone that is interested, how about listing where you're at and how far you are willing to drive to gete there.
I'm in Indy and would travel up to 5 hrs to hit a GGG. Never been to one so curious to see everyone's gear and meet some other BPL'ers. Hope we get it done!
Also in Indiana but don't have many free weekends at this point. I could do first week of Apr.
I'll be in the Deam Wilderness Apr 19-21 with at least my sons (and hopefully a few other Scouts) if anyone wanted to meet up.
I'm in Northwest Indiana and willing to drive 5-6 hours as well.
Just caught on to the Midwest GGG idea and I may be interested. Ohio is pretty much all boring but we do have some state forest with loops. Never backpacked in Indiana but that may be interesting.
