Another successful GGG- thanks Ken for all your work and dedication. Old friends, new faces, great vendor presence and quite the chilly wind! Thanks to all who made it.
Ps. Thanks to M. Elridge for the firewood and water. Thanks to J.Abela for the hand warmers!
Nice photo. I just posted more pics in the original thread: 5th Annual Bay Area G.G.G. aka GGG 5.0 1/25-27, 2013 Henry W Coe
Thanks again, Ken, and to everyone who contributed.
It was nice to meet some new folks and seeing familiar faces (you know who you are)… lots of handshakes and hugs.
I have a few photos, will post them when I get a chance.
I thought this was the best of the 3 I've attended – Ken, great job of organizing and recruiting vendors. Many thanks to you, and I'd also like to second Kat's thanks to Marc for providing the firewood and water, and to John for the handwarmers! Being probably the worst cold wimp huddled around the campfire, those things made a huge difference to me.
On a side note: I want to "PIF" the custom VX21 MLD Exodus I brought to the GGG, since I've decided I am not making the best use of it. Being a heavy duty pack without a lot of frills, it is probably more suited to a climber. It generated some curiosity at the GGG; if anyone who was there who asked about it (paying BPL members) would use it, I'll pass it on for shipping cost (Thom Darrah, who PIF'd it to me, requested that I do that if I decided not to keep it, and I'll ask the same of whoever gets this one).
(edit: pack will be going to Andrew)

Thanks for the photos, Marc!
Debbie, I sent you a PM about the Exodus.

The shovel was found by the kids exploring the area.
My daughter took most of these pictures. Thought we would share.
Getting ready to head out from the overflow parking lot.

Double rainbow we watched on the hike in.

On the way to Manzanita Point.

Home away from home – Double rainbow.

Forest Jungle Jim

Manfred was kind enough to bring several GPS's, teach the kids to use them and place a bunch of geocaches for them to find.

Along with Manfred's our small group, Jeremy, his son Justin, my daughter and I found 3 "official geocaches".

One of Manfred's many geocaches.

Jeremy and Justin taking a little break at China Hole.

It would be interesting to find out the history of this old cabin.

Found a little friend on the trail.

Hiking up out of the valley, don't want to be late for the "burn off".

Tony being Tony around Saturday nights fire.
