Sea to Summit 35L eVAC Dry Sack as a pack liner?

Looking to use the 35L eVent sack by Sea to Summit as a pack liner for a 40L bag. I'm wondering if anyone owns this and can attest to the overall shape- does it make a good pack liner? Is it oval or round?

The weight is 4oz, and so is the trash bag weight I found (and trash bags rip…).
