I am wondering if anyone is aware of a source for silnylon pants similar to the old Brawny Gear pants that used to be in the gear shop.

I'v only worked with Ben, but I can attest to his high quality, reasonable prices and quick turnaround time. Luke's prices look great too.
CAMP USA makes some silnylon type waterproof-non-breathable pants. They often show up on "The Clymb" website and currently they have mediums on sale for $25 from camp usa outlet.

You should speak to George (Tin Man) at AntiGravityGear about sil-nylon rain pants. I think he was talking about them recently to go with his sil rain jackets.
