something for a trail runner snowshoeing- seems there are several on the market- Sole has two (one is awfully thick though), Superfeet has two- one is partially merino, Toasty Feet has one, but not sure beyond insulation how effective of an insole it would be

    any thoughts, experience?

    danke

go to ebay and search "wool insoles".

There you'll find all sorts of warm insoles for very, very cheep. I got some Alpina brand ones recently for $5.

do you replace your insoles w/ these or slip them under the insoles? If they are made to replace the insole, I'm a little leery of not having any support in an insole- the ones from Sole and Superfeet replace the current insole, but retain support
