I have an older model Zpacks Hexamid Solo I bought used. The tarp is stitched and was seam sealed professionally. This summer, in some heavy rains, there was some water seepage near the peak. There is no obvious damage to the stitching. I have some seam sealing supplies left over from sealing a Tarptent Rainbow several years ago. I could just re-seam seal the Hexamid, but I have also looked at cuben tape. What are the pros and cons of re-sealing vs taping? Can I even tape over stitched seams that have been sealed? Thanks!
