Should I be concerned? I just got my Primus EtaExpress and did a test boil on the back porch and the HE ring cracked and seperated from the fins. Is this a problem?

I'd contact their support/warranty department. That shouldn't happen on a first time boil.
Support said I should return it.
So now I'm back in the market for a stove and pots. I'm highly considering either a Jetboil Sol or a Kovea Spider with the GSI Soloist (plus new utensils).
