Does the MicroRocket seem loud to you? I sold my PR last Spring to the Post Mistress, wish I had it back now to compare to the MR. I've only had the MR out once, that was a few weeks ago before the most recent snow storms. I hiked up the Forest Circus road close to home for about an hour, setup on a log while it snowed lightly, and fixed a can of soup. Stove worked fine, I did not time it, seemed ok, just loud, like a roarer burner on a kerosene stove. I got the stove shipped free without the packaging, but with the little plastic container and the sparker thing for $26, what a bargain.
