Hello,

I am thinking of picking up the Platypus 2.0L GravityWorks Filter System.
I *was* going to get a 4.0L one but this smaller size came out!

Before I buy the thing –

Will a Platypus Big Zip SL Drink Tube attach to the "clean" bag?
Would I need to purchase any additional attachments to make it work?

Thanks in advance for any advice!

If the 2.0 L system is like the 4 L system, the connection to the clean bag is standard Playpus screw on cap. It is possible to attach a standard Platypus drinking hose to the clean bag. But the Big Zips have the quick connect/disconnect connector.

You could visit your local backpacking store and experiment.

Yes, Sarah. All of the attachments are the same across the entire Platy line.

I often leave the Clean bag at home and just use my Hoser, but as you are getting the 2L (I have the 4L) I can see just using that as your in-pack bladder.

Hmm, edit. You want to filter into the SL? No it won't do it with the cap but instead you can pop off the bite valve and plug the tube right into the output end of the filter.

Thanks Bruce and Ray for your comments.

I've been using water treatment tabs in the past but it is time to get a proper solution to clear up mucky water!
