I want to order some micro spikes with a holiday gift card and would prefer to avoid trying them on in a store where I will not buy them and driving the 40 minutes to get there.

I am a size fourteen. I would like to order the XL so that there is the chance they will fit my ski boots. However the majority of the time they will be used with trail runners or light hiking shoes. The sizing chart says xl will fit 14-16. I am wondering if they are talking hiking boots, and will they be tight enough on my trail runners? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks and happy holidays

I have an XL pair. They barely fit my size 15, 3/4 top hiking shoe/boot hybrids. They're just about perfect, maybe slightly tight, on my size 15 trail runners. I'd expect them to fit size 14 trail runners just fine.

Large works okay on my 14 trail runners, although they are snug enough I notice them when I first put them on. The XL fit my 14 trail runners fine also, and do not slip around at all. I'd expect the xl will fit the entire size run they list on the package very well given the range of stretch in their elastopolymer . . . plastic stretchy stuff.
