SULers use spectra for guy-lines, bear bagging, etc.. Found out arborists use this stuff also.
This site has 1.75mm coated knottable dyneema, or pure spectra for $23/$22 per 180'. 2.2mm also available.
It's not exactly the same as the aircore spectra at the BPL shop, and not as strong, at 400lbs breaking strength, but 1/4 the price per foot.

This would still be great for stuff sack cords, bear bagging et al. If there's interest maybe we could get a roll and divy it out amongst a group since I know I don't need 180' of it.

FYI: It's one of the many dozens of lines I tested last year. It is 7/8 oz per 50ft. The plastic-like exterior coating makes it a bit stiff and a little kink prone compared to uncoated spectra or dacron, however the coating also lets you tie a clove/girth hitch to a Ti neeedle stake and it holds. It could be an OK line if you do not need many lines on a tarp or of a long length.
I have not tested the other lines listed with the link.
