Can you use Edelrid Kiro ST stove with MSR or Snowpeak canisters?

First of all, you can understand that the stove manufacturer does not want to take any responsibility for some other canister manufacturer's mistakes. Secondly, you can understand that the stove manufacturer wants to sell more stuff, including lots and lots of their canisters.

OTOH, it appears to be a standard canister fitting, so there are a half-dozen brands that would fit. If the stove manufacturer were stupid enough to design-in a non-standard fitting, the product would be a real dud in the marketplace.

Well, they would, wouldn't they?

Screw thread stove made by Fire Maple or Kovea (forget which). Use with ANY screw thread canister around the world. Does not work with campingaz from France: that's different.
Errr… though I'd avoid the strange-brand Chinese canisters if I was you.
