Weights and costs aside, I'm looking for the stake that will do the best job in the Sierras and the Rockies.

These will be for the 4 corners of my GG The One. MSR (regular) Ground Hogs will hold the front and back trekking poles, Lawson Ti Sheppard Hook stakes for the additional stake-able storm-mode points/backups.

Which would you choose for the 4 corner points? Would love to hear from anyone that has used both or just why you'd pick one over the other. My only experience is with the DAC J-stakes and they seems pretty tough and hold quite well for a 6.5" stake. Some specs below:

MSR Mini Ground Hog:
Weight: 0.35oz
Length: 6.0"
Pattern: Y-Stake

DAC J-Stake:
Weight: 0.40oz
Length: 6.5"
Pattern: V-Stake

TIA!

I like a mix of DAC and ti Shepards.

The DAC is a nice and simple design, and they come in a bunch of colors.

I've never used the MSR minis.
