After trying to find a good commercial towel over the past 5 years I finally found one that works for me. It is a 2'x3' piece of cotton fabric that is close to bandana material. It doesn't smell after days of use and is pretty thin and in a light color. I got two of them for $2.50 (yard of fabric) at Wal-Mart, just had the rough edges sewn over. I can use it as a bandana, filter, sling, etc. 2.1oz per which I can easily deal with.
