Up until about 3 months ago I was carrying a 3lb stove plus 3 large pots, Metal blue bowl, Metal mug, and Extra fuel container. I guestimated it to be about 6lbs.

For me and my wife I carry this now

Heineken Pot w ALUM lid
MBD Atomic stove with stand
Windscreen
2 fuel bottles.(covers about 4 days of cooking if I really measure.
A film canister(did you know that an Advantex film canister holds exactly 1oz of fluid? I use it to measure fuel.
1 Lexan measuring cup/mug/bowl.
Lexan Light weight Spoon and fork.

I have yet to field test… I have cooked some oatmeal for my son on it a few times, but that is about it. the weight is amazing thanks to the people at this site.

That looks like a great setup. If you want to boil a full quart of water, which is my normal volume of water for two people, the $6 Mirro Grease Pot from WalMart (pot: 2.5 oz, lid: 1.8 oz or less if you make your own) works great.

Nice… I usually make her pack her own pot/bowl… LOL Maybe I should be nicer. She doesn't mind it though. She really only goes about 1 out of 5 trips I go on. and usually they are overnight or 3 day trips.

Thanks for the tip.
