In September I met a couple of folks from Montreal Canada while off trail in Slide Canyon in the Northern Yosemite Wilderness.
After a pleasant talk they offered me a couple of their home made summit bars.
It is a cottage buisiness for them.
Thought i would share this with all of you looking for a delicious and different type of trail food.
I have no financial stake in this and simply want to share this as i found the bars to be quite unlike anything else i have ever had and i like supporting good kind folks.
Posting here on BPL was my idea.
This is Alex and Bridgette.

The packaging was excellant, minimal, and airtight.
The summit bar itself has just the right amount of moisture to be eaten without needing a drink half way through.
Wish i knew how to bake like these folks.
They gave me two and despite trying to save one for later… i ate both bars before i made it out of the meadow. They are really tasty.
The contact info is right there on the package.
I am going to order some of these up today.
