I need a new caron fiber pole that adjusts in a range from 50" to approxiatemately 60." Does anyone have a suggestion besides contacting Fiberplex? Thanks for your help. John

Hey John,
The Life-Link Carbon Race Poles extend to 58". This length is the max length to support your weight while hiking.
There is still a few extra inches that the pole can extend that will suffice for tarp support.

I have the 3 piece REI Peak UL and I get an extra 4" with them fully extended, (2" on each piece).

The 2 piece will give you at least that so you can get you 60" from it.

Do a search here for the review.

Aaron, Thanks a bunch for your reply. I will check it out. Appreciate your help. Preferably I can find one pole. This is to be used to set up a tarp. I should have pointed that out. The idea of using a hiking pole occurred to me and if I can find a single pole I will do just that. I am trying to avoid paying $75.00 that Fiberplex wants for a new pole.
