Oware is selling this "QuarkTex TM Ultralight Shell fabric" bhttp://shop.bivysack.com/product.sc?productId=57&categoryId=10 and saying it comparable to Pertex Quantam. If this a good choice for breathable topside fabric of a bivy?
I built a prototype bivy from super cheap Silnylon earlier this year, and the condensation is an issue obviously. Thinking of canibalizing it and sewing in a top panel of breathable fabric rather than start from scratch.
