This is for more along the lines of urban travel (I still do it light :))…
Since pack covers obviously don't provide full protection of backpacks (where a laptop would be in it's sleeve at the backside of the pack), I am thinking about just slipping the computer into a sleeve before putting it in the backpack. My first thought was that plastic would create static and I know that static and computers don't go well together. What about a cuben fiber sleeve?
