I am looking to get a sleeping bag or quilt that can cover the widest range or a combination of two that will cover me throughout the year. I am a very cold sleeper. I live in southern Louisiana but I will be doing trips to ms, Alabama, ga, tn, nc, some in Colorado, and anywhere else I can get a good cheap weekend ticket to.
I love to stretch out and sleep on my side. I will be taking my two miniature schnauzers with me on any trip that I don't have to fly for. A quilt seems nice to be able to snuggled up with them or the wm sycamore because it can open out as a quilt. I am concerned about getting drafty with those two options since I'm small-5'3 100 lbs. That's why the montbells seemed nice because I can stretch out when I need to and not have extra area to heat.
I was thinking either the wide overstuffed revx 20, the sycamore, or any one of the motbells. Please help me decide what the right combination will be. I really want to get out there but need to get something light to sleep on.
Also I have the exped synmat ul7 and was thinking of getting the downmat ul7 to add and tie the two together so it makes like a bed for me and the dogs.
We are all ears. Any suggestions appreciated.
