Took a tumble Friday and ripped the butt open on my wind pants. Anyone have any suggestions of repair as it would suck to have to throw away an 80 buck pair of wind pants.
Suggestions welcome.

like you ripped the fabric itself? or tore the seam open?
Ripped the fabric itself.
I was up on little old Mt. Washington in NH in 80mph gusts. I got blown off some icy rock and landed on some sharp edged boulder. Ripped a gash about 12 inches long.
I was thinking some iron on patch material but am unsure of the max temp the material can take.
