I tested my new Long model in the wind and rain: the howling winds ranged between 5 and 10 MPH, and the massive downpour would have filled 5 to 6 tablespoons. Performance? Perfect. I glued the 22" side poles into the little cups because they tend to fall out while setting up the tent. I can still pull them apart enough to fold them in half, so they pack very nicely. I added another, long guyline in front, for no real reason except the lonely single front guyline (plus the beak's stretchy line) seems overwhelmed by the 3 lines on each end, and 3 lines on the back. Not only is there a LOT of room to stretch out, the 22" poles make sure the tent can't drape down over the face or the feet.
