I have used and like Simblissity's Unslack Pack. Lost mine, so need a new one. Are there any other similar bags on the market that I should consider?

Zpacks offers a shoulder pouch. Weights ~0.3oz and can also function as a water bottle holder for a .5L bottle. Haven't tried it personally but it looks nice.

…I have two of them on my pack…they work a treat. They stay put, and have heaps of room.

The Zpacks shoulder pouch looks very good. The website shows 2 straps at the back for attaching the pouch to the shoulder strap. The pouch is very secure? I've been thinking about getting the chest lid/pouch too.

There are two elastic straps, but they don't hold the pouch on your pack. Instead joe uses a very fine spectra-type cord in a loop with a micro cord-lock. This goes on any daisy chain, ladder or sternum strap in your shoulder straps, and holds extremely well, even with a liter Aquafina bottle in there. That said, I prefer to use the pouch for knife, compass, and other essentials, with my camera and some sunscreen in the elastic mesh pouch on front. Genius design, über light, and well priced, pretty much par for the course at Zpacks.

+1 for the Zimmerbuilt bags. I own two different bags. I have the non-padded shoulder strap bag as well as one of the waist belt bags. I bought both in black X-Pac fabric, and I absolutely love them both. Great design, quality, and construction. The shoulder bag is big enough for my smart phone and a few other small items (mini compass, gum, maps). The waist belt bag is quite larger. Plenty of room for my maps, a few granola bars, and my chapstick.

In action…

Looked pretty nice. Perfect size to hold phone, repair kit, snacks, etc.

Got one on the mail. I have Chris's 1.19 oz. cuben "summit" bag. It's super strong and super light, and I use it for food hanging and a base camp day pack. Great product and price. But I digress, Zimmer's strap pouch, smaller than my left shoulder Zpacks bag, and with a water proof zipper, is going to be the perfect addition to my custom Zero.
