Anyone manufacturing a synthetic/Polarguard quilt style (ala Nunatak Arc) with Pertex shell? I have good experiences with the Pertex shell materials and would love to have a quilt with these features.

I understand BMW will release one soon but afraid I may miss the oppurtunity or not have the cash that very instant when they go on sale.

I want synthetic due to my BD Firstlight not being the most super waterproof tent.

To the best of my knowledge, Bozeman Mountain Works is the only company producing this variety of quilt. Ron Bell will be releasing some new sleeping gear in the coming months and he may have that lined up. One might consider contacting Nunatak to see if they'd consider a custom quilt as well.

If you’re willing to invest a bit of elbow grease, the Ray-Way Quilt Kit has Polarguard 3D and a good-quality breathable nylon.

Re:"One might consider contacting Nunatak to see if they'd consider a custom quilt as well." I asked that very question 4 or 5 months ago as part of my purchasing a pair of mukluks (very warm), and he replied "No synthetics!" and seemed very adamant about the subject.
