Anyone have any experience with this pack or with the Atmos 50 which is essentially the same pack but a bit smaller (3,000 vs 4,000) cu. inches??

I have the 50. Among the 4 packs I own, it is by far my favorite. The airframe pocket on the back and the mini mesh pockets on the hipbelt really set it apart from the crowd. I would replace my big pack with the 65 if I could afford it.

I have the 50 too. I love it despite some packing weirdness due to the curved frame. Reasonably light and quite comfortable.
And it's red.
I just used the atmos 65 on a three day winter snowshoe in Lassen National Park. It fit like a dream and all of those handy pockets helped me shed layers as needed. A very good lightweight pack, but NOT ultralight. Overall I would give it a four out of five.
