How do you keep your Down Quilt / Bag from touching the side of your Tent???

I have a SMD Skyscape now, and it has no condensation issues, but I have, in the past, used my pack liner bag as a buffer. Given the lack of breathability (iOS thinks not a word, maybe not) this could wet your bag out anyway, but loosely covering the bottom has never given me a problem. I used to do this in my ID SilShelter, which tends to condense a lot, when not using a bivy too.

Probably the easiest way would be to use an inner net tent which has a footprint that is within the outer footprint of the tent walls. This usually would contain the sleeper from getting too close to the outer wall.

Other than that, it's a matter of good positioning. Keep yourself away from the outer walls. If possible, raise the pitch a little higher so that the lowest portion of the sloped walls are higher, and further from your feet.

Bigger tent or double walled tent. Those are your 2 options. Suppose a tarp, though this time of the year…

I have a Hexamid Solo

When used with my NeoAir, the footbox of my s'bag gets closer to the material near my feet. Whilst I don't have many condensation issues, I do sometimes cover the footbox of my bag with my windshirt or rain shell. I just drape it over the top, or slide the footbox of my bag into the jacket itself.

This doesn't seem to compromise lofting, and generally works well at stopping any moisture push through into my bag.

Hilleberg suggests using a rain jacket over the foot area.

Sleep in one spot and dont move around.
Its not that hard with a reasonable shelter.
