Ran across this and thought (if it doesn’t weigh too much) it would make a great simple/small protective case for a camera when backpacking. Capable of holding SD cards and perhaps some cash and ID.

From the site:
“This case is designed to fit small cameras, such as the Sony CyberShot or Canon PowerShot series. It is made from heavy-duty ballistic nylon and features an ultra-soft nylon lining to protect the finish, lens, and screen on your camera from scratches and dust.

The case includes a zippered pocket pouch on the side, which is perfect for storing a space battery, memory card, ID card, cash, a single key, etc. The zippers feature large, rubber zipper pulls for easy operation. The case comes with an aluminum D-ring carabiner, which allows you to quickly and easily attach the case to a belt loop, purse strap, etc.”
