This interesting article covers a DARPA project discussing the use of external coolers/warmers for your hands to allow survival in extreme temperatures. It might be of interest to SAR types, and the theoretical fringe folks interested in how the body works. I'd sure love to hear the comments from the SUL nutjobs… er I mean EXPERTS! :)
