Who makes a non-mesh inner for mid’s/tipis?

I did know about Bearpaw, but they only list mesh ones, after this I went and checked, and they sell1.1 oz ripstop as a fabric, so I assume they could do it in their inner tent as well.

That 2 person one would be pretty much what I was looking for, and at 530g's it's HALF the weight of my Golite HEX3 Inner. Granted, that is bigger, as theirs is made for the smaller SL3, but even if would be 15% heavier in the HEX size, it would still be a big weight saving.

We use a DWR on the rear side for ours. Not designed to fit SL3, mostly for our own line but have heard they work in a SL4

Will do anything custom, pretty reasonably. Call or email the owner, he's a good guy. There is a whole section of their website showing custom work they have done for folks, much of it dealing with inners, etc, for non-Bearpaw shelters.

We will see how it turns out.

What fabrics will be used?

I have a pyra 1 and 2 for my duomid from them and couldn't be happier. BPWD is normally mentioned for their inner net tents, but I'm surprised there's not more chatter about their shelters. Specifically the "Lair" and "Diamond" seem very intriguing.

I ordered a Cuben floor, 1.1 ripstop nylon body inner tent for my Hex3.

This is specifically because I already have the Hex and it is my foul weather shelter, so I am taking it to North Dakota next month, but I was warned about the chance of a nasty dust storm.

It will also add some warmth to the tent in windy ND. Plus a bathtub floor, which would be nice in case of a real downpour and inattentive site selection by me. These two factors help mitigate the pain in the heart caused by adding an entire new piece of gear to my pack that is 7 times heavier than what it replaces(polycryo groundsheet).
Still hoping for some good rains/snow before I go there!
