    Anyone know how I can estimate the amount of calories in homemade beef jerky? The recipe I used is here. I used 1.5 lbs of top round.

    I'd think it'd be the roughly same as before it was dehydrated. Other than some oils possibly vaporizing, what else would change? If that's acceptable, then use the ratio between the before and after dehydration weights to calculate the calories thereafter.

    You can use this for the meat. Everything else can come off the bottles.
