Ever on the lookout for smarter ideas that I can make work, I was reminded of the GSI "Ketalist" this morning when watching an Emberlit video. What attracts me to these are the low/wide format and the simple ability to pour without removing a lid.
Are there other such designs or products out there that y'all have experience with?
The titan kettle by MSR is like that. I have one and really like it. I just wish it were about a half in. taller so that I could fit my bushbuddy in it.

It seems as though your first decision should be price vs weight. The Ti kettles mentioned above both weight in at the mid 4 0z mark, where a hard-anodized Al kettle is somewhere around the 5 1/2 oz mark. The Al kettles however are less than half the cost of a Ti kettle so they make a great way to try out using a kettle without spending a lot.
Also if you are looking for other Al kettles, both Primus and Optimus make them too. Primus offers a couple of sizes; a .9L and a 1.5L.
Given my experience and everything I've read, you'll probably get a boil going faster with these Al kettles as they have a wider base as compared to the Ti options.
