Evernew Ti UL Pot #1

I have the same pot and I have a Snowpeak Litemax ti stove, the boil times are just fine, if its windy I'll use my Ridgerest and block the wind.

I have yet to find (or make) a windscreen for my litemax.

The Evernew .6 is an awesome pot though, the Ti is super thin allowing faster boil times theoretically.

I've switched to using a wood burning stove so wind screens, and fuel efficiency don't matter as much.

I know this isn't a DIY windscreen idea, but I'm thinking this will fit the bill and should fit inside the pot. I have one…and while it seems that every Vargo product I've ever had in my hands comes pre-dented and scratched, I've had no issues with it. Can even use it as a pot stand for a light pot if needed:

May I also ask where you found your Evernew 0.6L pot at? I can't seem to find any vendors that sell the 0.6L online and VERY highly dougt I'd ever find one locally.

I have this pot and only use the Sidewinder Ti-Tri. It's not just foil, it's titanium.

Try the suluk wind screen. Medium fits inside an sp 700 fine. Not sure about the 600. I have an extra medium one, pm me if interested.

I have both the .6L and .9L evernew Ti pots (w/o non-stick). I now use a brasslite stove.

For a wind screen, I use one that I made a few years ago, but still works great with my current set-up. I found some extra-heavey aluminum foil and just folded over the foil several times to a strip about 3 inches wide, with enough length to form a small circle around my stove. I've had it for years and it's still fine. I just fold it and put it inside my pot, where my stove also nests, wrapped in a handi-wipe so it doesn't scratch the inside of my pot. it's flexible enough that I can make the circle bigger or smaller based on conditions and fold it, but not so flimsy that it tears or rips.

If it's really windy, I just place my stove lower – even sometimes digging a shallow pit – than some natural wind breaks, like rocks, etc or gather some bigger rocks and place them around the stove.

I picked it up off Lawson but he doesn't seem to have any more left.

I made a new windscreen out of flashing last week but in order for it to fit inside the pot with everything else, it can only be the same height as the pot (which isn't very tall). When it's set up with the Bios 4, it only comes up the side of the pot about 1/4" and is not keeping any heat against the sides at all. I'm assuming this is the problem.

Jason- thanks for the link! I remember reading this over the spring before I had this pot but forgot about it. After reading it again, I think I may have to bite the bullet & pick up a TiTri & pair it with a Starlyte. I'll also have to cook dinner every night for a month to make up for spending that much on "some foil"

I actually got the last one off of Lawson a few weeks ago! Now I have the 0.6, 0.9 and the 1.3… I love these things… :)

And a little mini sidewinder system for this thing would be awesome…

I just watched your video the other day of the TiTri & Evernew 1.3 and its a huge part of why I'm now leaning towards picking one up. Were you using the TiTri with the Inferno add-on? I've read you can use it without the Inferno but am wondering about the efficiency without it. Any thoughts?
