Garbage bag for messy garbage

The foods I take on a trip tend to create messy waste: empty tins of sardines and anchovies leave an oily mess. On my last trip I packed the waste double-bagged in a couple of oven roasting bags. Worked fine, but aside from being too small, the oven bags are transparent and I found myself looking at the rather unattractive mess within.

What I'd like to find is a smaller version of the plastic trash compactor bag I use as a pack liner. The material is tough and opaque. But I'm open to any suggestions for a tough, opaque bag that won't leak.

How about a Mountain House 4/5 person serving bag? Those things are beefy, opaque and ubiquitous.

Not your least-costly way of getting a bag (don't have much use for MH meals, too carby) but the idea goes on my shortlist! Thanks.
