Newer Frogg Toggs materials?

I picked up a Frogg Toggs jacket a Walmart for $30 and used it on Mt Agassiz a few weeks ago. I had to try it since it is a very close relative to the material I use on my bivy sacks. We got some rain and it performed great. I even hiked in it for 30 minutes after the rain stopped expecting to get hot. I did not which is amazing since I always seam to run hot. Great value.

I had no idea Wal Mart carried them. What section was it in?
I tried Cabelas and Sports Authority and neither place had them.

Our Walmart is not "super" so I suspect most might have them. In my store they along the back wall by the camping and sports near the tarps. They have had a selection of Coleman Pants and Jackets for awhile, but the Frogg Toggs were a recent addition. I have the XL-XXL size and it weighs 423 g. They did not have any pants.

It's in the camping section. It's also a new addition at the closest Walmart too. They had a section along the wall with rain gear, but I guess it was full because they put the Dri Ducks at the end of the aisle opposite the rain section. It's sloppy and half of it is piled up on the bottom.

Are you guys talking about the ones that feel like a really thick and heavy paper material? I think I was playing around with one of those at a Wal-Mart a few weeks ago and was able to put my finger through it. Has anyone tried the nylon on ted and Dripore on the inside ones? I saw some at a Dunham and they had quite the collection.

There are 2 types of Frogg Tooggs at Walmart. The poncho material is crap! The jacket seams a lot tougher at 3.4 oz/sq yd.

It is tougher but I do remember putting my finger through one when trying it out once. I wish they would just use a thin and light nylon on the outside and make the the Dripore thinner. I think the jacket was called an A/C3
