Got a puncture in a Synmat Basic 7.5 and patched per instructions.
Testing showed the Patch was leaking directly over the hole.

Pulled the patch, cleaned with care, applied new patch and copious glue from a new tube of glue.
The mat was Completely deflated, and both ports left open.
Drying time was about 6 hours.
Testing shows the second patch is also leaking directly over the hole.

An email to Exped hasn't produced anything yet (it's sunday).

Insights?

Thanks.

Greg I had the sam problem with the same pad, after the second attempt I applied a thin layer to the patch adhesive (that came with the pad) over the patch and about 0.5" around all sides, problem solved. I've used the pad approx 25-30 nights with the patch, it's still holding. I had an Exped inflatable pillow with a pin size hold near a seam, I didn't think I would be able to get a patch to hold in that location, Exped responded to my email in a couple of (weekdays), they asked that I mail the pillow to them for a guaranteed repair, if they couldn't make the repair they would replace the product…less than a week later a new pillow arrived.
