Other than on big walls as a cheaper/lighter alternative to port-a-ledges, has anyone here use Hennessy or other hammocks above the treeline, especially on or close to summits?
If you pitched your hammock on the ground, what did you use to support the fly/tarp/etc (e.g. walking poles)?
If you pitched it off the ground, what did you use to anchor it (e.g. nuts? cams? pegs?) and what did you anchor it to?
In either case, what sort of conditions were you in, and how did you fare?
