WM Megalight vs. Marmot Hydrogen

I also tried the WM Highlite and although I "fit" I also found it constricting (6'2"/220lbs) which affected my sleep. I believe that I also tried out the Megalight first but would up with the Hydrogen from 2006 or so. It has kept me warm at 30F, no problems. It has a great face "muff" feature.

PS: I'm NOT sure the WM is a little better.

I love my megalite, it is very roomy on me.
When it gets cold, i put my clothes on the sides of me, takes up room and makes it warmer. If I need to put them on, I can actually do it in the bag. I have slept comfortably down into the high 20s.

Enough room that I can put my 40F 16 oz quilt inside too. The loft is then incredible, like 6-8", like a giant cocoon. I suspect have a feeling it would be good to single digits or low teens, but havent tried it yet.

I've had my Hydrogen comfortable down below freezing w/o any additional clothing (w/ a Neoair pad)- I think it is (as are other Marmot bags) pretty accurately rated.

I sold my Summerlite as it was too tight for me- darn nice bag, but I don't think I gave up much by going to Marmot.

I frequently find Marmot bags for very good prices, I seldom if ever find good deals on WM.
