I tried out the Shangri-La 1 today and I had a hard time making it nice and tight. Any tips? I had the inner net and fly. I also had to use 10 stakes as opposed to the 6 I thought it needed.

Practice pitching any shelter many times not only makes the pitch better, it makes it quicker and easier to pitch.
I could go into details on the Shangri-La, but I suspect you'll figure it out quicker if you just pitch it a few times.
here’s the main problem i have. the fly and the net don’t match up in the rear. the fly is either too large or the net is too small. i have guylines pulling the poles back too.

I read that some have used a carabiner to attach the net tent to the fly near the top of the poles. Maybe I'm confusing the details….
i have a clip on mine, but it doesn't really fit snugly. i suppose it's a measure to prevent the fly from slipping.
I can't see what the problem is from the picture.
I have pitched an older version(The Hut?) many times without issue.
You don't have to stake all points, buy it is recommended if you expect strong winds.
I wonder if you have the wrong inner for your shelter?
