On the squeeze bags which came with the Sawyer Squeeze filter, a procedure for "long term storage" is described which involves squeezing water with a cap full of bleach through the filter.
How often does one apply this procedure? In other words, if, say 6 weeks pass between successive trips, would you use bleach?
