Just thought folks would be interested in little trick I came up with in mating my Katabatic quilt to my Klymit X-Lite pad. The thing I like about this system (besides being lighter) is that the attachment cordage always stays attached to the pad, rather than having to re-tie it on every evening. The cord loops are positioned perfectly on the pad as well to insure proper coverage on the width from the quilt and also proper body position on the pad to hit the shoulder/hip/knee spots. I've been using this system for awhile now and find it working out great! When the temps really drop, I usually just throw a 1/8" CCF pad underneath it all.
