Not exactly myog. I'm going to send my bag off. I want an inch added to two top baffles, and the top hood baffle completely refilled. Baffles are 5 inches wide. The bottom is 4" thick versus 6" for the top. I have 3 ounces of 900 fp thru-hiker down. Is that enough?
Looking at Western Mountaineering's site, it looks like an inch of loft over the entire bag only requires 5 ounces of down, so I think 3 ounces of down would be more than enough.
Doing rough calculations, the top baffle addition would be 1"x5"x20"=100"^3 for each baffle. The hood looks like 4"x5"x20"=400"^3. So I'd need less than 1 ounce of down if I'm going about this correctly. I might over stuff the hood because my head pumps out a lot of moisture.
