(Coming from the Outdoor Retailers 2012 threads, but no one seemed to know about those, so posting here)

Impressed that SD is thinking in terms of lightweight, simple and functional systems. With the dri down this seems pretty dialed in (windshirt could use a hood too). Its pretty much the BPL party line exactly, rain shell for emergency use only, windshirt for everything, quick drying high loft insulation.

Seems like most companies opt to pump out as many niche products as possible rather than versatile systems that work across a range of conditions. I can understand why, but glad to see SD doing something else here.

Thanks for sharing that link- I definitely like the SD Cloud Kit, and agree the MH backpack is pretty skookum. I love seeing new gear. :)
