Next week I am leaving for a backpacking trip with my wife and son. I'm thinking about either the Winds or the Gros Ventre Wilderness. I have a route in the Winds in mind but was thinking the Gros Ventre Wilderness might be fun to explore since I have never been there. As a bonus it sounds like a good place to go for solitude. Anyone on this forum have experience in the Gros Ventre Wilderness? I'm looking to do a 50-60 mile route. Is the Gros Ventre Wilderness anywhere near as scenic as the Winds?
