I have a Deuter pack made with 210 ripstop where the mesh pocket would go on a lightweight pack. I wear the pack on short rest breaks, and lean back on rocks. As a result, the 210 ripstop gets pretty scuffed up, with some scuffs going about 1/2 way through the fabric, and some resulting in small (1/8") holes.
Will 210 Dyneema ripstop like the GoLite Jam, MLD, or SMD packs are made of be any more abrasion resistant ? Do the bottoms of those packs get a lot of tiny holes pretty quickly ?
How does the abrasion resistance of the 100 Cordora that the Granite Gear packs are made of compare to the 210 Dyneema ripstop the GoLite/MLD/SMD packs use ?
How does the 210 Cordora that the Granite Gear Vapor Flash uses compare to the 420 Packcloth many climbing packs use for the main bag ?
Thanks.
