Anyone know of a successful case of shortening an Xtherm, or know the insides of it well enough to have thoughts on whether it would work? I know people were successful with shortening the regular neoair. I'm imagining shortening a Large one so it would be wide but not long. All hypothetical at the moment.
I've never seen the inside of an Xtherm but I would imagine it would be the same process as the regular Neoair. There is most likely more insulation materials inside the Xtherm. As long as you can tuck it back in to expose enough of the heat-sealable material to bond. When I did my regular Neoair I bonded about 1.5" and then trimmed a little off for asthetics.
