Hello,
Since I purchased a thermojet stove I have been unable to duplicate the performance specs claimed by the makers of Thermojet as posted on their website.

They did send me some suggestions which made moderate improvements, but when I still was unable achieve their specs, they ignored my repeated requests to substantiate their claims or to tell me exactly what fuel they used, at what temperature and what elevation. I have followed all their dirctions exactly. And couldn't come close to their claims. I was able to further improve the performance by wrapping the burner in a tin foil liner, but I am still no where near their claim of using half and oz of fuel to boil 16 ozs of water in only 3 minutes 15 seconds.
I have emailed them 3 times and I have not received an answer. I am tired of being ignored and as a last resort, I am attaching my correspondance with Thermojet below. Perhaps Thermojet will respond on this public forum since they will not respond to me personally.
If anyone has any insites into this situation, or would like to comment on the misrepresentation of exagerated claims by manufacturers, I would be interested in hearing them.

I have sent you 2 emails in which I asked you how to improve my stoves
performance and in what conditions you tested the stove to achieve such
efficient specs. As a consumer of your product, I feel I am entitled to an
answer. If you do not answer me directly then I will post on BackPacking
