Stoic thrive and merino shirts questions

i have two stoic merino wool shirts – they are itchy and scratchy, and i haven't noticed it going away after a few washes and a few trips.

too bad too, i love everything else about them.

What size thrive shorts did you get? and whats your waist size? height and weight?

Bummer on the merino shirts.

I got a size medium, where a 32, 5'11" 170. Fit nice, just a long inseam. I like hiking shorts that stop just above the knee

I am not a big fan of merino. I feel they are not comfortable. When i get hot they get worse.

I like to wear Columbia's Mountain Tech II. They are poly blend and very soft. Some people say the treads comes out. I have a few and never had that problem

Chiming in to say the Stoic merino tees are very comfortable on me. Not sure I've ever heard someone say they were itchy before.

ETA: errrm, if someone who finds them scrathy and uncomfortable would like to, oh, divest themselves of said uncomfortable clothing, my PM is enabled…

I have a Stoic Merino Bliss 150 wt shirt and I found it to be soft and comfy from the get go. Not itchy and scratchy at all.

Whats the different number mean on the different merino shirts?

The weight of the merino fabric (in g/m^2) that they use. So the bigger the number, the heavier/thicker/warmer the fabric.

My Stoic Merino 150 stuff has been soft. Not Icebreaker soft, but at least as good as Smartwool.
