25-50 miles in San Juan Mountains, I have 6 days total, flying into Albequerque, Aug.7th early a.m.
I was intending to catch the train out of Durango, beyond that, I have zero ideas on which trails would be best.
Any recommendations greatly appreciated (trails, trip planning…logistical)
I'm really short on time for planning obviously.

Okay…great tips in there. Thanks again. I'm just going out 5 nights though. I see the value of his presentation, and those are some fantastic techniques to reduce weight, and increase comfort while hiking.
I better revisit my list. :-)
