25-50 miles in San Juan Mountains, I have 6 days total, flying into Albequerque, Aug.7th early a.m.
I was intending to catch the train out of Durango, beyond that, I have zero ideas on which trails would be best.
Any recommendations greatly appreciated (trails, trip planning…logistical)
I'm really short on time for planning obviously.

Jul 28, 2012 at 4:43 pm #1898289Okay…great tips in there. Thanks again. I'm just going out 5 nights though. I see the value of his presentation, and those are some fantastic techniques to reduce weight, and increase comfort while hiking.
I better revisit my list. :-)
